I want to remind you of some really great events for the community and the environment.
Roll up your sleeves on Friday April 24 at 2 pm for Toronto’s 20-Minute Makeover.
Many schools and organizations have registered and if you want to pitch in, go to the City’s website at www.toronto.ca .
Saturday April 25 is Mayor David Miller’s Community Cleanup Day. There’s an annual spring Spruce Up at Greenwood Park from 9 am to noon and Phin Park from 10 am to noon.
Also the Danforth Mosaic BIA is hosting a cleanup from 9 am to 1 pm of laneways and graffiti, south of the Danforth from Westlake to Woodbine Avennue. A community BBQ will follow. Call 416-691-1113 for info.
