The City-run immunization clinics are offering first, second, third and fourth doses for eligible residents. Please check the City's website for information on locations and hours of operation:
You can book appointments at City-run clinics online or by calling the provincial vaccine booking line at 1-833-943-3900 (TTY for people who are deaf, hearing-impaired or speech-impaired: 1-866-797-0007).
A health card is not needed, however individuals must bring some form of identification. Acceptable forms of identification include government-issued ID (including non-Canadian and expired documents) such as a driver’s licence or passport, a piece of mail with your name on it, a pay stub or a student card.
City-operated clinics are part of the Team Toronto vaccination network that includes clinics operated by hospitals, pharmacies and other healthcare and community partners. Check the Province's website for information on participating pharmacies: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/vaccine-locations

East Toronto Vaccine Clinics
Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) and its Ontario Health Team, East Toronto Health Partners (ETHP), are shifting their efforts toward COVID-19 recovery. As a result, they are implementing the following changes to their vaccine work in East Toronto starting June 27, 2022:
Shoppers World Danforth clinic and school clinics no longer operating after June 26, 2022
- After June 26, MGH and ETHP will no longer be operating COVID-19 vaccine clinics in East Toronto, including the Shoppers World Danforth clinic (3003 Danforth Ave.) and school clinics.
- COVID-19 vaccines will continue to be available by walk-in at:
- COVID-19 Outreach Centres: tehn.ca/CovidOutreachCentres
- Pharmacies
- City immunization clinics like Thorncliffe Park Community Hub and other sites: toronto.ca/home/covid-19/covid-19-vaccines/covid-19-how-to-get-vaccinated
First Dose at Home program no longer available after June 26, 2022
- After June 26, MGH and ETHP’s First Dose at Home program for seniors will no longer be available.
- They will continue to facilitate vaccine requests from homebound individuals in East Toronto: tehn.ca/HomeboundVaccine
COVID-19 vaccine booking office closed after June 30, 2022
- After June 30, MGH and ETHP’s COVID-19 vaccine booking office will be closed.
- If you need help making an appointment at a clinic near you, please use the provincial booking system online (covid-19.ontario.ca/book-vaccine) or call 1-833-943-3900.
Additional services at their Clinical Assessment Centre and COVID-19 Outreach Centres that will continue to operate
- COVID-19 Outreach Centres continue to offer walk-in PCR tests, take-home PCR test kits, COVID-19 treatments, COVID-19 vaccines, mental health counselling and other services.
- MGH’s Clinical Assessment Centre (825 Coxwell Ave.) also continues to offer walk-in PCR tests, take-home PCR test kits and COVID-19 assessments and treatments.
- In the coming months, they will be working with partners to introduce additional services at COVID-19 Outreach Centres (such as preventative cancer screening) that support COVID-19 recovery and help priority neighbourhoods prepare for additional waves of the virus.

All levels of government play important roles in delivering the COVID-19 vaccine to residents:
- The federal government is responsible for approving vaccines as safe and effective for use and procuring them;
- The provincial government is responsible for creating a provincial vaccination plan that includes distributing vaccines and supporting health system partners to deliver them to residents, starting with people who are most vulnerable; and
- The City of Toronto will promote the importance of the vaccine, distribute vaccine doses and help immunize residents, investigate adverse events following immunization and share data with the province.
