Community Environment Day at Commisioners Drop-Off Depot

This year Community Environment Days will be run differently due to COVID-19. The events in Ward 14 won’t be at the usual locations. Instead, Community Environment Days will be set up as a drive-thru events at the City’s Drop-Off Depots where you can bring items for reuse, recycling and safe disposal. Free bagged compost will also be available.
The Community Environment Day at the Commissioners Drop-Off Depot (400 Commissioners Street, by Bouchette St.) is taking place on Sunday, October 4th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
There is also a Community Environment Day at the Bermondsey Drop-Off Depot (188 Bermondsey Road) on Sunday, November 1st from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm..
Toronto Public Health guidelines will be in place. Remember to keep two metres (six feet) from others and wear a mask or face covering when physical distancing cannot be maintained.

If you are unable to attend, the City’s Toxic Taxi program has resumed for pickup of household hazardous waste. Call 311 to make an appointment.
Please note this is not a normal Community Environment Day. To keep everyone safe, the City is recommending residents drive through the event to drop off items. Any residents walking or biking can drop off items at the front of the event for staff to pick up, but will not be able to enter the site.
