Toronto’s annual spring cleanup will take place on April 26-28, 2019. Join 200,000 residents, students, businesses, organizations and community groups for the 16th annual city-wide cleanup of public spaces.

Registered cleanup events are eligible for free litter and recycling bags. The City will also offer special litter collection for cleanups, subject to approval.

Joining is easy:

  • Select your favourite park, beach, ravine or any other public space that needs a cleanup.
  • Ask your friends, family and neighbours to join your cleanup team.
  • Plan your cleanup by determining the start time, day, supplies that will be needed and if waste disposal is required.
  • Last, register your cleanup – it’s important.

When you register you can request special litter collection, subject to approval, and are eligible for free litter and recycling bags. Registration closes on Wednesday, April 17.
