Saturday, January 26th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, ribbon cutting at 1:30 pm

Join Councillor Fletcher and Mayor Tory to cut the ribbon, have a great skate, sip a hot chocolate and officially open our fantastic new rink.

The previous ice rink was 100% rebuilt, including:

• new mechanical refrigeration systems
• the complete replacement of the refrigerated slab
• new upgraded sound deadening dasher boards and fencing
• new rink lighting meeting current standards

Other upgrades include:

• a new scoreboard provided by a donation from the Taber Family Foundation
• new armour stone spectator seating on the east side of the rink
• a new accessible ramp and staircase
• improved access into the dog park
