Two Great Opportunities To Get Involved With Our Urban Tree Canopy

Adopt-a-Park-Tree

LEAF is seeking applications from community groups that would like support from LEAF and our Young Urban Forest Leaders to develop an Adopt-a-Park-Tree program in a city park.  Parks with newly planted trees that would benefit from basic care (watering, mulching, monitoring) will be prioritized. The deadline for applications is March 6th.

Young Urban Forest Leaders

LEAF is seeking applications from young women for our Young Urban Forest Leaders program (female-identified youth aged 18-24). Participants receive 5 months of training and mentoring from LEAF and work with the selected community groups to start Adopt-a-Park-Tree programs. This program will introduce young women to possible career paths in urban forestry and arboriculture - fields where they are currently under-represented.

The deadline for applications is March 20th.
